I have 2 drives one running Win98 and now one running XPPro.
My currentUSB ports (6 of them)are USB1.
What do I have to do to change to USB2 please. Is it a new card or just a switch in the BIOS

New card...unless you are REGULARLY transferring huge amounts of data or editing camcorder footage you will not notice any diiference between USB2 and USB1.

Unless your motherboard supports usb 2.0 then you will have to get a pci usb 2.0 card. Some thing like this will do click here

You will need sevice pack 1 for x\p to run the usb 2.0 ports. The drivers for windows 98 are available on the web.
