USB1 and USB2 compatibility

I want to connect a printer with USB2 interface to PC that only has USB1. What problems ,if any, am I likely to meet?

None. It is backward compatible. You just won't get the advantage of the higher speed of USB2.

Hi, you should not have any real problem except that you will not get the benefits of usb2, your printer will run but at usb1 speed. I would suggest fitting a usd2 pci card with say, 4 ports. if you particularly want usb2.

Can vouch for what has already been said i run USB1 with USB2 printer attached to it and all works fine and dandy. As said printer will not get all benefits of speed but hey ho, it will work fine.
