Hi, I wasa wondering if someone would be able to tell me what these do

If I plug one in to my computer will it produce a wireless signal, I need to connect my Sony PSP so I play online gaming but am getting really confused. The website I have been looking on says you cannot use a router with its software and says the above will work, but just needed to know what the USB adaptor acyually does. If it helps the website I have been looking at is the following:

Hope you can help, you have all been very helpful in the past.

Thanks in advance

The USB adapter works exactly the same way as a wireless pc card - it connects the device to a wireless network. They are relatively new on the market. If you have a router already, you can use the set-up shown to connect your PSP to the internet.

In principle, you could use 2 USB wireless dongles if you have a wireless router and you are using XP as the operating system.

Whether you will be able to play your games on-line, I couldn't say.
