Hi all,

Anyone any experience of this type of kit, it gives you 2 USB 2.0 ports at the back of the tower and 3 at the front in a spare bay. Does the extra connection from the card to the front ports slow it down any or produce any other problems?

None that I know of, and it's very useful to have the extra ports at the front. I have two USB2 PCI cards giving me an extra 8 ports at the rear, plus a USB2 external powered hub plugged into one of the cards, this gives me an extra 4 powered ports at the front. j.

Thanks again Djohn, very helpful, I saw this kit today at a reasonable price so I think I will go for it,

Sapins.

Just to update you Djohn, I have fitted a USB 2.0 card today, one with 2 rear ports and 3 at the front. It is working OK and I was surprised how easy it was to fit.

Thanks again,

Regards,

Sapins
