USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 on same system

Will conflict occur between USB versions if they are both present. I habve 1.1 on mobo and 2.0 on PCI card having troublke with 1.1 device (drivers)

None at all. I have several of both. The only problem is remembering which is which - I suggest marking with a marker pen.

zaxpop, you don't say what problems you are having nor state the operating system you are using.

The posts above are quite correct but the addition of USB 2.0 controllers (via card) places further IRQ demands on your OS, and USB just does not like sharing IRQs.

You may need to check for IRQ conflicts. Win98 seems to be the worst at IRQ allocation but that may be because most users with USB 1.1 are likely to be on an older OS.
