I am in the middle of installing Windows Internet Explorer 6 service pack 1 which was recommended after Windows update scanned my system. After a lengthy download the installation has begun and I am told that the target file already exists and is newer than the source.Should I overwrite the newer file ???????
Sellect "NO" and leave the newer file in place.
Surely I should not overwrite the newer existing windows file with an older downloaded one ?I don't understand why Windows Update would tell me to download stuff after performing a Windows Scan only to send me older files !?
Djon -found your reply after I had typed the second message !Thankyou and God Bless this Site !
