hi, i want to add additional memory to my computer but dont know where to start as i been told you can only put in whatever the motherboard could take. all i could find out was i have a GigaByte810e Motherboard (Time 733 system) so far i have 128 RAM but just put XP and its slow! Anyone know anything about this? could i put a 256kMB RAM upgrade or stick with 128MB which i have and dont do no difference!

You can get a manual for you motherboard here: click here this will tell you how much memory you can install.
128mb isn't much especially if you're now running XP.
Defrag your hard drive regularly too, this will help with speed issues.
