Upgraded Laptop to 64bit

hi ive just updated my laptop to 64bit from 32 ive been on my laptops driver page on hp website and i carnt find the hp update programme and power to go programme that was on the laptop when i brought it.my laptop is click here thanks

The HP software update is listed on the Vista 64 bit drivers page, you could try that. When I upgraded my HP laptop to Win 7 64bit there were no Win 7 drivers or software so I used the Vista drivers and software, all installed okay and are working fine.

i backed my vista 32 bit up onto external harddrive but dont know how to get them onto my windows 7 64bit mate ive tried that hp update thing mate installs fine but then when i click onto it it says need admin but my account is the only one and its admin im stuck.

Right click on the shortcut and select "Run as Administrator"

You don't need to. Go to your laptops driver page and look under the drivers for Windows Vista 64 bit, download the application you want (HP software updater) and the run it to install.
