Upgrade Memory - SODIMM and DIMM

I am upgrading my old comp's memory - need SDRAM PC100 128MB DIMM but can only find SDRAM PC100 128MB SODIMM.

Is there a difference between these two? If so - what and will it still be compatible. If not - why call them by different names. I have noticed that DIMM tends to refer to PC133.

Please help and also - if you know anywhere I can get cheap RAM - tell me!

SODIMM is a special form of RAM for notebooks - it won't fit what you want.
