cwshreader will fix 'about blank' caused by coolwebsearch click here

used cwshreader but "about blank" keeps returning what is the next best thing to use - I have tried ad-aware and spybot.

Hi emmos if it just happens when u connect to the net via ie-go into- start/control panel/internet connections/internet options & on the general tab under homepage type the page you want for your home page & apply.See if this sorts it out.

I have tried all the possible combinations but it keeps coming back, when I close the webpage down then re-open, it comes back as about blank- when I run cwshredder it keeps finding cws.search - it removes it when I open a webpage there it is again.

Do a google search for Spyware Guard and install the program- it should alert you on Homepage changes.

Ad-aware click here will now remove some variants of about:blank but it has to be run in safe mode.

Download and install Ad-aware, then update it.

Restart PC and keep tapping the F8 key just before the Windows screen loads to get into Safe Mode. Then scan with Ad-aware and delete everything it finds.

I've tried everything and even bought spykiller but when ever I re-open a webpage it comes back as "about blank" I've tried changing it in internet options but it still comes back, if it is in the registry where will it be and how can I find it?
