Unwanted Power Saving mode

  [DELETED] 17:21 02 Apr 2006

I had my monitor set for power saving mode (no screensaver) when I was absent, but it became impossible to "wake it up" without re-booting, so, thinking I had a problem with the old monitor, I bought a new one, but the problem remained. After changing the power saving settings, to "never" and setting a screen saver, things are much improved, but just occasionally at random intervals, while I am working, the screen will still go black for about ten seconds and display a small blue box with the words "Analog Power saving mode" in the centre of the screen, before recovering to normal.
Any ideas, please?

Have you set all three options to "never" and unchecked the hibernate option?
