Unwanted history & Favourites in IE8

  WhiteTruckMan 13:54 26 Jan 2010

Just upgraded Mrs WTM's pc to IE8 and whenever anyone clicks the down arrow at the end of the address bar, then along with most frequently visited sites. there are now listed the partial history, and partial favourites. Anybody know how to get rid of them from this listing? I'm not after deleting the history (and favourites!) just getting rid of them from this view.

Tools>Internet Options - Content tab, Autocomplete section, Settings button,

Uncheck "Use Windows Search for better results" , "Feeds" ,"Favorites" and
"Browsing history".

Leaving "Address bar" checked.

Save your changes.
