Unrecognised File on Reboot

  tamarells 15:33 25 Feb 2007

When I reboot I get message that a file is trying to close. File name is not shewn complete but starts: Hnlkg5rTrVQQ. Windows 'Search' does not find it so I don't know what it is and how (if required) I would be able to delete it! I'm running Windows XP Sp2.

Googled - not found there either - try search again, but this time include Hidden Files and Folders. If found - highlight it and press Delete on the keyboard.

Also run all you anti-everything files to be sure!

Tried that but still not found!

Hmmm, I would try a System Restore back to before this happened - maybe even to last week sometime, often sorts out unknowns like this.

Tks Technotiger I'll give it a go!
