Some good reading on 'fdisk' click here

Thanks AubreyS but I was wondering whether there was any other way. Maybe from the OS installation disc or within Windows.
Powerless informed me earlier that I could partition within Windows, now I'm wondering whether I can reverse it!!

Thanks [email protected]@m. I wasn't aware I could use fdisk for XP.

Best way: Partion Magic. It is really a magic product.

Previous Thread: click here

If the partitons have nothing on them, just go back to diskmgmt.msc and delete them. If they have data on them then just copy the data to the master (space permitting).

Powerless one partition has got '98 (FAT 32)
One has got XP (NTFS)
And the third is just data.
Does that cause a problem?

Sorry, you're quite right! Try this, Start, right click My Computer, Manage, Disk Management, select the partition you wish to delete, Action, Delete partition.

If you delete a partition you will lose what is on it.
