I have a file called kvpdwl.exe in my msconfig - startup. msconfig tells me it is in the registry, but gives no path to it. I cannot find it on any website which lists startup files. Does anyone what it is or does? Thanks.
Googling 'dwl.exe' suggests it might be spyware and kvpdwl.exe could be a variant.I suggest running your anti-spyware tools.
like you can't find any reference, are you sure of the spelling?assume you have run your AV and spyware programs try winaso to clean yor reg click here will only clean 10 items at a time
Try this little utility to show you what starts up from where, including the registry - and enable you to easily delete the unwanted.click here
Thanks for your help. Although I dont know what it is, I have uncheckkhed it in msconfig to disable it, and everything still seems to work OK
