Hi got a Epson c42+ ,what are the universal chip resetters that allow you to refill cartridges all about?

they reset the chips containded in te ink cartridges.

if you refill your cartridges, your printer cant see the refill, but if yuo reset the chip the printer thinks there full.

i think maplins and pcw sell them.

havent tried them but do know they work.

The resetter is called "Zap-it" and is prodused by JR Universal. You will find it click here Last time I looked the item was £25, and yes it does work, have been using mine on the Epson C62. Check and make sure that your printer is quoted.
