uninstalling norton

Hi all, I have Norton pre-installed on my pc but I want to get rid of it so I can install Nod 32 instead. Can someone tell me how to do this and the safest way to do it? Im running on vista home premium.

ok sorry for being a bit dim there, ive sussed its a 2007 version. Ive done the first part but I am confused as it says 'step 2- download the Norton Removal Tool and save it to the desktop'

I'm wondering where the removal tool is that I need to download?

Its here click here.
Download it to your desktop,use it.Then use CCleaner to clean up.

Thanks Guys, I was reading it off the printout. Ive managed to do it, I think.
I really appreciate it as I have been wanting to erase Norton off my sysyem for some time now!
