Uninstall XP

Ineed to uninstall/re install XP because of IRQ Conflicts but I cannot see the software listed and I dont want to wipe the hard drive clean.Can anyone help.

Are you sure your IRQ conflicts are connected with a faulty XP installation?

Bit doubtful of that, myself.

I dont think that it is a faulty XP installation but unable to fix these irq conflicts so I thought of uninstalling and re installing would resolve these issues? If anyone knows how to fix IRQ s that would be useful.

Go into the BIOS and set

Plug and Play OS to Yes

Resource Controlled by to Auto

Reset Configuration Data to Enabled (note this well automatically revert to Disabled when you reboot)

Then reboot.

If this fails, try physically changing over where some plug-in cards are plugged in to.
