Uninstall Norton Antivirus Corporate

  Buddies 16:38 24 Mar 2004

I am desperate trying to uninstall the Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition on my PC. Person who installed it, put a password on the installation, and everytime I try Add\Remove Programs, the PC prompts me for a password. I am trying to install Norton 2004. Is there another way of moving around the installation?

Please help.

The password feature is there to stop unauthorised/malicious removal of the Antivirus program. You will need to ask the person who installed it for the password.

Nice link Crossbow. We use that password where I work but I hadn't realized that it was a default one.

Did it work?

Thanx for your support. I went to the Registry Editor and deleted the entry of Symantec (Software), and just installed Norton Antivirus 2004. Worked like a bom!!!
