The easiest (and safest) way to do this is to install SpywareBlaster then go to Tools, Misc IE Settings. From there you should be able to change the branding of IE to whatever you want!

If you don't have SWB already, get it from click here

It's free and very useful.

Done it?

Try this

1. Close all browser windows.

2.Go to start and choose RUN

3.Type in rundll32iedkcs32.dll,clear

4.Hit enter

5.Open your browser and all should be ok.

(note the only numbers are 32 as the ll look like ones but are not and its a comma after the word dll not a fukk stop)

Or you could copy and paste.

You could but it wouldn't work. You've left spaces out, scannerman...

  scannerman 22:15 05 Aug 2003

i said i was a bad typist try this

rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear

It has to be exactlty as scannerman posted, i.e.

rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear

with a capital C in "Clear".

You can edit the key in the registry too if you want to, but it's easier and safer to let a program do it for you if you're not confident.

Go Start, Run, type: regedit and hit enter.

Backup the registry by going to the registry menu and export. (I usually export to c:\ and name it with the date)

look for the Software folder and click the + to expand it

look for the Microsoft foleder and expand it

look for the Internet Explorer Folder and expand it

Click on the "Main" folder, look down the list on the right of the regesry editor to find "Window Title"

Right click and select modify. Type in whatever you want the window to say under "Value Data". Click OK.

Restart Internet Explorer and you should have whatever you want at the top of the window.
