Unallocated space on hard disk

I recently changed my backup system to a full drive copy (lengthy, but simple)on a spare disk from a backup on a partion on my master disk. I have deleted the partion ( in this case D) from my master disk, but I cannot get back the free space. DriveCopy 4 shows that what was the D drive is now "unallocated". Can anyone tell me how I can reintegrate the free space left when the D partition was deleted with the primary C drive?
Thanks.

you will need to use something like partition magic to get the unallocated space merged back with your main c: drive again to show the full size.
