Unable to print PDF pages from internet

  spuds 19:10 29 Apr 2008

I have been using an HP3180 printer for printing off PDF pages from the internet. Over the past week I have had problems doing this simple usual process. The printer will not print them, but for other printing methods, everything works.

Is it a case of re-installing the printer, or is the a repair 'patch' for PDF, that might solve the problem?.

If you are using Adobe Reader this might help click here

Have you tried saving the PDF files to your PC, then printing?

If you can view the PDF files, they've completed downloading. You then just have to click on the Floppy/save icon, save the file to a convenient location, open the saved file & print the page(s) you require. G

P.S. If it still doesn't work & you're using Adobe Reader, try the free Foxit Reader instead click here.

Thanks for the information and advice, much appreciated.

Due to other problems now surfacing (including PDF file downloads locking-up computer), it looks like the best idea would be to completely reformat the computer, and start from scratch.

Will tick as resolved for now.
