Unable to open Internet Explorer

Hi, A friend of mine uses AOL 9 to browse the internet. When he clicks on Internet Explorer he gets the Unable to open page. Does AOL override Internet Explorer?. (I have no experience at all with AOL.) Cheers, Bill

Has he deleted his temporary internet files?
You don't mention what operating system he is running but if it is XP then you could try START > PROGRAMS > AOL > AOL SYSTEM INFORMATION > UTILITIES from here he can 'Clear browser cache' which would delete the temporary internet files as above or 'Rebuild AOL Adapter' which works for me as I also run AOL 9 with AOL Broadband.
You can only do the above 2 things while not online i.e. at the Windows desktop.
