Two phones, one line. (First-Modem, second-phone)

Hi, I'm having BIG probblemm. I cannot use my modem (dial-up) and normal room phone at the same time.

That's right - when you are on the phone line with the modem, you cannot be on the same phone line with another device. Just like you can't make calls from two phones on one line.

That is correct, you need a separate line, cable modem or ASLD modem to be able to use your phone and internet at the same time.

But when I learned Microsoft Interactive Servise, I heard, that I can. I forgot what I need to do because after reinstallation OS I didn't find MIT.

You can't use a phone and a Modem at the same time on the same line.

Are yo thinking of the ASLD modem, they connect to your telephone line and so you can use the phone at the same time.

  WebGuy 23:02 05 Oct 2003

No, normal dial-up.

  Jack D 23:05 05 Oct 2003

Then it can't be done.

  WebGuy 23:06 05 Oct 2003

All right, all right...
