Trustworthy Anti-virus....any suggestions

I've always liked Norton, but ever since it let me down on trojans and worms ive been on the hunt for a better one...any suggestions?

any A/V is good as long as you keep it up to date.i have NAV does me ok

i thought my norton was well up to date...but when i used another anti-virus when things werent right with my pc, it found loads of worms..
