  Hetti 12:22 25 Mar 2007

I need to install Adobe Flash player, when I tried to run the page after the download of the player (I got the message A F Player was succesfully installed)It is asking me to insall the A F player again and the page doe's not run .

I tried to download it again but same story, when I search for the Adobe player I get a list of 84 files found, but I do not know how to idendify the correct one or what I need to do to install it(If it is there)
I will not get back here until late afternoon, hope someone can help me out!

There's no date on the Adobe knowledgebase article. All I do is uninstall from the normal windows control panel and reinstall from the official page, as linked above. Always works for me.

I've learned that if you run RegScrubXP or CCleaner they incorrectly disrupt the running of Flash. I've removed CCleaner because it's far too indiscriminate in what it does and worked out that any references to Adobe or Macromedia in RegscrubXP should be excluded from any cleanup. I've had no problems (that I could tell) since.
