i have run my AVG anti-virus programe and it has shown that i have 13 infected files (trojan horse) the infected files are in my...c:\restore\temp\folder it will not remove to the vault, is there anyway i can remove them as it wont let me delete file, also keeping them in file will it do long term damage to my pc? thank you in advance

You'll have to turn off System Restore before running AVG again. Once turned off AVG should be able to move or delete the files for you.

Don't forget to turn System Restore back on again afterwards.

I just dealt with a similar problem, you may be better trying avg in safe mode but this is how I fixed it click here
