Trailing cursors

I've noticed on some websites that using the mouse cursor produces a variety of attractive trailing effects - and also, I received an email at Christmas which had active snowflakes fluttering down the page. I'd like to use these on occasion - anyone know where to obtain such dowmloads?

They're programmed into the web site - not downloads.

They're probably a java applet, or DHTML.

But the thing is, they look bloody horrible to most web users! I don't think I've ever come accross a site that has been designed well that's used one of these effects.

The cirsors - that is.

email effects can be downloaded - which emai program do you use. They're generally called stationery - and you can find them with google, in their zillions.
