HELP. Can anyone tell me how to totally remove IE7. When I use add /remove etc. it seems to be gone. But IE6 will not install because it finds a later version. I do use Firefox but my ISP -AOL will not download anything and its a nuisance sometimes. Can I erase IE altogether and start again, via the registry for eg.

Thanks

Don

Removal of IE7 via ADD or Remove programs normally reverts the system to IE6. Are you saying that this has not happened?

Exactly. IE7 uninstalled IE6. and although 7 has been uninstalled and I have downloaded 6 it will not finish installing because it still detects 7

You shouldn't need to re-install IE6.

Thank you both.Great!!!
Ran the cleanup, tried to install 7 but as usual it did not complete. However this time after a reboot 6 was back and works fine.So thank you so much and have a lovely christmas.
