Total Noob - Which gaming case

  athertpa 09:34 11 Apr 2009

So admittedly I am a total noob that is taking on the challenge/personal development that comes with building a computer!

I have decided on processor, AMD II Phenom 940.

Stage 2: Which case?

Can anyone please throw some suggestions my way for a good case for less than £80.

This is going to eb a id range £800 pc, not a massive watercolled etc..

Thanks for your help

The Antec 900 comes in at just over £80 but worth the money. It has excellent cooling and is well built.

Other than that, the Thermaltake V9 isn't too shabby at around £75.

A lot depends on what you want your case to look like, side window, how many drive bays, how much expansion room, PSU included or not, hot swap bays, neon lights blah blah blah......

Good luck with the build!

to build custom PC's and see what they are using in their different High End/Low End configs and then track down a seller of a case based on info from that source and other gaming site forums.

Try Overclockers and Ginger6 for a start
