is there anyone who can help, have had a phone call from sister in law has problem with her lap top (new user) turned on tonight and had black screen, but three lights and fan were on. she has looked in her hand book and it has mentioned hibernation - can anyone advise - could she have turned her screen of? what is hibernation - how does she get out of it? how does she get her the welcome screen back? she is stating model number as Toshiba EQUIUM M50-164.
Would be extremely grateful for any feedback.

Tell her to remove the battery and just try it running on mains without the battery as if it's faulty battery it will not start
