Top Border in Excel footer

  Chillie 14:38 26 Jul 2008

I hope someone can point the way. Created a macro to insert a footer to a worksheet using a range which is on a different sheet (same workbook). I added a top border to the footer details, but cannot get it to display.

Maybe this is not possible, and I may have to create an image.

Any assistance would be appreciated, even if it is to say 'no chance'.

BTW using Office 03.

Many thanks

As far as I know this is not possible.

Suggestion: create your footer in Word which allows much more flexibility with Footers then copy and paste in your table from Excel.

Lived in hope that you would be able to assist.

Shall try your suggestion tomorrow.

Just to be clear: (1) create a footer e.g. "copyright 1234" with a top border (2) copy to footer-cell in Excel?

Will report.

Many thanks again

Will take your advice and create the spreadsheet to act almost as a database (not really, I know!); then as you suggested link the contents from Excel into the presentation in MS Word.

Nevertheless, thank you for pointing the way
