Tiscali and Microsoft Office Outlook

  Truronian 17:47 18 May 2015

My ISP is Tiscali. I have also loaded Microsoft Office Outlook which I used when I was working and which I like. When I downloaded office I was automatically asked about my ISP and password. It all works very well and I am happy with it. I now notice, however, that there is a message to me on my Tiscali account site that my password has been hacked and suggesting that I change it. Is this an automatic warning that everybody is receiving? If not, how do I change the password without upsetting Microsoft Office Outlook?

First thing to be absolutely certain of: did the email really come from Tiscali? I'm sure you've checked, but those scams can be very deceptive.

If you're sure it's genuine, change the password in Tiscali, then go to Outlook, Accounts and change the password there.
