A tip on how to spot spam.

You know what its like , your curiosity gets the better of you , you clicked the link just knowing that the sticky brown stuff might hit you but you do it anyway.

The easiest way to spot a spam link is to hover your mouse pointer over the click here , now look at bottom left of screen and you will see just where the link will take you.

Yes I know you might be aware of this but new people come here all the time.

Depending on how the site is programmed many modern browsers support prefetching.

Tech Advisor doesn't appear to be programmed that way but on certain websites, links on pages can be prefetched for faster loading.

Even search engines can lead you onto bad pages.

This is where things like Site Advisor, Malwarebytes Pro and the Internet Suites sold by antivirus companies hopefully jump in and stop things from happening.
