Tiff to Jpeg conversion

  JerryH 17:28 01 Oct 2007

Just completed major task of scanning old 35mm slides using HP Scanjet 4850. They are now saved in .tif format, which was fine for modifying images (using Paint Shop Pro). I now want to put these images on DVD, but since DVD capacity is only 4.7 GB, I assume I will have to convert them to .jpg to squeeze them in. But PSP only allows me to "save as" .jpg one image at a time (NB quality is OK)! Any ideas as to how to bulk-convert .tif images to .jpg??

There are numerous batch converters on the web, Irfanview being one of them, it's also freeware.

I use Photoshop and can create an "Action" to do this, and would be very suprised if such as this cannot be done using PSP.

Here's one free ware converter click here

A search of the web will produce numerous freeware batch converters
