Thinkpad mouse not working

  Dalglish2 12:02 31 Jan 2008

I have found my mouse pad not working - I can left and right click but the two centre buttons that allow scrolling no longer function.
Also the tap function to minimise or maximise the screen is not working - any help welcome thanks sm

If this its a wired mouse then internal wires in the cable may have broken. It can be repaired if that is what it is. by cutting the wire off near to mouse then resolder the wires internal, they should be colour coded

you got a touchpad icon in the notification area bottom right? Left click it and you get access to Touchpad and Trackpoint settings. Enable tapping for the former and tick scrolling for the latter
