Thermal Paste is required or not?

Hi, I have make my own PC few weeks ago. But, now my PC get more heated and sometimes it's automatically shut downs. So, I search and find some blogs on thermal paste. So, I want to know Thermal paste solve my problem?

When you built the PC, did you put Thermal Paste between the Processor and the Heat Sink?

There should be, but not very much. Just sufficient to ensure good contact, without air bubbles, between the two

Yes paste is needed unless the cpu / heatsink came with a thermal pad included.

definitely needed to help with core temperature. If you didn't use it your computer will over heat and could catch fire
