Tea Timer

We have windows XP and SP3 installed .We use Spybot and Avast . I notice there is part of Spybot called Tea Timer , could this cause the pc to run slow ? If so ,would it be wise to un-install Spybot or disable , if possible Tea Timer. The slow running is more noticeable in the evening when my son is on usually chatting to friends etc. and cracks him up. Grateful for any advice , maybe time to replace computer??

Try Taskmanager when computer is running slow And see if there is anything hogging the CPU.If nothing running system idle process should be showing about 97%

I found Tea Timer was causing me problems and switched it off without any apparent harmful effects.
