tbbMeter and I think I'm missing something?

  Diemmess 17:54 27 Jul 2009

Have been tinkering with tbbMeter for measuring BB usage as a new user.

I am sure that yesterday in addition to the red and white icon on the task bar there was a grey icon next door which presented all the settings in the pattern of a form.

This icon is missing now.
All I have is the graph with quota/today, stats, menu, and minimise at the bottom.
Have tried clicks in every corner but cannot find the original "form".

Reluctant to reinstall tbbmeter, but if that's what it takes.........

This freebie appeared to be just what I want, but I seem to have lost part of it!

If you are referring to Tautology Bandwidth Meter, the only icon I have ever had is the diamond shaped version in the Notification bar.

Hovering the mouse cursor over it reveals some details, it goes green if bandwidth is being used and clicking on it brings up the information panel.

Click Hide to close it down and revert to the Notification bar icon.

Following a thread a day or two back I tried installing "your" Tautology Bandwidth Meter, but didn't realise it runs immediately on installation and doesn't need a formal RUN from me.
(Kept erroring "an instance was already running" and wouldn't take me further)
I thought I had uninstalled it, but hadn't rebooted afterwards.

So when I loaded tbbMeter and spotted its icon I also noticed the TBM icon.
After rebooting, the TBM icon was (unsurprisingly) no longer there, so I was exasperated enough to post this thread.
I now have just TBM running.

Thanks for your help.
