System for text-saving-and-retrieving wanted.

I want to set up a system whereby I can do the following things.

o Save, to hard disk, text selections (e.g. tips for solving computer problems) from web and newsgroup pages.
o Be able to run a search for keywords on these saved selections, to retrieve information.

Can you advise me please how this can best be done?

Copy and paste from browser to Notepad.

Save files in a special folder.

Use Windows' search/find to search in that folder for files containing your keyword.
