System Speaker keeps bleeping

On a conputer with no sound card or on board sound capacity how can you stop the system speaker from bleaping when doing anything within a program.
I know I can unplug the speaker but it can be usfull to have when something goes wrong.
It did not do this previously but hard disk has been replaced so must be a setting somewhere.

Control Panel - Sounds - Sounds tab, and turn off sounds for events you don't want sounds for.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sound tab>disable whichever warnings you wish.

Thanks for that but set to no sounds for everything

Go into BIOS check temps of CPU and System, it may be a warning. They have a threshold that yo should be able to set for it to beep. But it sounds like the CPU Fan is not up to the cooling needed

have a look in tools/internet options/advanced and see if anything applicable there or maybe set spkr icon to mute.

Not temp as bleeps when opening screens saving etc if it was temp problem it would be all the time, PC did not have problem with temp before and only hard drive replaced fan and heatsink exactly as before and were not removed.

There is no speaker icon in system tray as no sound devices are installed on the PC

PC it's a obvious hardware fault but cannot say without seeing it

You could remove all unnecessary card's etc to test it and put one item back at a time
