System Restore Allocation

Hi guy's would love some advice regarding the percentage of space i should allocate for System Restore for my C, D and (F-EXTERNAL),drives. At present C has 3685MB of space allocated (slider at Maximum),D has 13668MB of space allocated (slider as before) and my external F has 57232MB (slider also at max). Would it be advisable to turn off system restore for my F drive? i use this drive for my media files ie: music, photo's only!!!! I would be very gratefull for your views in "PERCENTAGES" as am still trying to get my head round all things Megabites etc lol!!!! Have a nice one

I would turn off System Restore on your F drive. SR only saves system files so there is little point plus having SR active on multiple drives appears to be a cause for not being able to restore the C drive.

If D is used for data and programs only (i.e. not Windows) I would turn it off there as well.

Agree with VoG™, I turned off System Restore on my F drive as it was slowing my pc down, don't know why, but it was.
My C drive is currently at 6% (4063MB), but I sometimes change it according to how my drive is filling up. It hasn't been at 8% (5608MB) for months now, but if I ever need to restore there are still plenty of points I can go too.
