System Restore

  chartwise 20:04 23 Nov 2006

I tried installing My SQL onto my computer when it got to 40% the installation just froze.
I tried deleting it using Add/Remove programs. The problem is that it has left parts of it in the registry.

Could someone please tell me if using SYSTEM RESTORE back to a date before I tried to install MySQL will also revert the registry back correctly, or does it mean a re-installation of Windows. I'm using XP Media edition.
I don't know how to edit the registry.

All help much appreciated

Yes, do a System Restore. Post back if it doesn't work.
