Svchost error

  canalaholic 19:22 15 Jan 2007

Hi Folks,

I am running W2K and on boot up am getting an SVCHOST.exe error message. Checking the event log says The Background Intelligent Transfer Service terminated unexpectedly. My AV is up to date and I have done a full system scan which seems to rule out virii. It seems to point to a problem with a dll in the registry but where do I start? I have no idea what prog the Background Intelligent Transfer Service is associated with. Has anybody got any pointers please? Thanks in advance.
