I was looking through 'add remove progs.' today and i came across 's3display, s3gamma2, s3info2 and s3overlay. What are therse because i am worried about what they ae?

I think the S3 drivers are generic, and at installation time the operator has to select the correct ones for their particular card. Certainly no need to worry, the files are small and at the worst are useless. ........... Removal might give infinitesimal benefit against a real risk of trouble if they are used!
