Sudden loss of DVD playback

My Mesh PC has decided not to play DVDs anymore today.
The error message suggests a fault on the TV Out of my graphics card is preventing access throught the analogue copyright! Sounds double dutch!

The video card is an NVidia Geforce 3 Ti200 which seems perfect otherwise it had the latest driver installed some weeks ago.

Don't want to buy a new card if its a software problem but am lost for ideas at present.

The fact that you installed the latest nvidia drivers is the clue: recent drivers have caused problems with DVD playback, especially with PowerDVD giving the message the TVOut has been disabled. You will need to go back to your earlier drivers.

As above, roll back driver in device manager.

Thanks to both of you - problem now resolved following removel of graphics card in device manager and rebooting twice.
