I did a post about Admin Account's and passwords and before i passed on the info i played with this on my computer......

And that got me thinking, dangerous!!!!

If i set up an Administrator Account on my computer and set my 'normal' account to limited, and only used that on a general basis, would that stop a virus loading, a virus is a program and you can not load a program in a limited account?????

I do not have a problem with being called mad!!!

Just thinking that's all!!!

Former rather than latter...;-)) A virus can infect a computer irrespective of how it is set up. Basically it can leapfrop through programmes when it gets into the computer.

Really you should be using a Limited account all the time anyway and only use the Admin account when required.

Watch "countdown".

If you can get a 9 letter word EACH TIME! ... and solve the numbers game with two matematical formulas.

Not forgetting William G!

You will be a Ge ni As.
