strange email from yahoo

Had two similar emails purporting to come from yahoo - both had attachments which I didn't open:

Hello there,
I would like to inform you about important information regarding your
email address. This email address will be expiring.
Please read attachment for details.
Best regards, Administrator

What do folks make of this? I replied to the sender but email wasn't accepted.

If more people resisted the temptation to open strange e-mails then there would be a lot fewer people getting these viruses onto there systems.

Please remember that if you do not know who the mail is from then it must be suspect and should not be opened.

Maybe if everyone stopped opening strange mail then we could put the sick people out of business once and for all.

If you must open a mail then there is a system where you can preview the mail without opening it. I use this method if my curiosity get the better of me. No harm is then done. Try it for your own sakes.
