Strang message appears.

From time to time I get the following message appear " A script is accessing some software (an activex control)on this page which has been marked Safe for scripting. Do you want to allow this." Can anyone explain what this is please and what I need to do about it, if anything. It happenned on the last occasion when I was opening windows update. My OS is xphome so2.

Hi VoG. This time, twice, it was Windows Update, but cant remember which ones previously as it doesn`t happen all the time.

I dont get any error messages and if i cick to accept I get the page ok.

Click on Tools> Internet Options> Security.

Click Custom Level.

Under "Script ActiveX Controls marked safe for scripting"

Is yours set to Prompt?

Mine is set to Enable, and I don't see any messages.

I think pc moron has it Meshuga. Enable is the default setting.
