storing video files

I have just transfered a video from my camcorder to the PC and have burnt it to a DVD.
I have many more of these to do so if I store all of these on the PC as a back up, I will soon run out of HD space. What is the best way of storing them until I need them again

Get a External Hard Drive. That's what I use. It need's to be NTFS if the Video files are over 4Gb

What I mean by the above is Fat32 can only have a file no larger than 4Gb you can have more than one file but the limit is as above per file. NTFS does not have this restriction.
